New Booty

Embroidered vest, Long Tribal Skirt,Christian Dior pale yellow sweater,
Suede button up top.

Yessss, that vest was such a score, it has a very Anna Sui vibe.  I’m also really into this jacket by Givenchy right now.  All I need is  a wagon and a crystal ball and I’ll be a real gypsy.

Fashion Research Lab

Pucci, mi amore.  This has just the bohemian, gypsy, witch vibe I gravitate towards.

Found this vintage lace caftan online for, like, $60(!) ha.
I picked up a lace curtain at the thrift, DIY to follow.

Also found this, don't think can DIY...

Alberta Ferretti.  Lurve this taupe/grey color.

Fur, Brocade, Velvet and Leather. Amen.

Elle magazine, I bow to you.

Slow ride. Take it easy.

While questing for the perfect clog style heels for spring, I cam across the, sold out,
Jeffrey Campbell 'Splendid' Woodie sandal - $115

But, because the universe is so amazing and brings me things if I am patient, I found these amazing leather and wood Nine West sandals- only $24(!) from Marti and Liz. So pumped to wear them this spring.

I already have an outfit in mind... p.s. can you believe Urban Outfitters is hawking Levis 501 cutoffs for $28 pair!!! That's highway robbery people.  Get your butt down to the treasure, ahem, thrift store and get a pair for $2. Make your own fabulous cutoffs, and go as short as you dare.

I tip my hat to Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson is a legend of outlaw country music.  A southern born rebel who has has written countless hits, Nelson has created an iconic look.  I love Willie Nelson and look up to any senior citizen who rivals Snoop Doggs marijuana habit.

Here is a look I put together inspired by Willies iconic americana style.  His braids are obviously much more impressive than mine.

Hat by Urban Outfitters, tankdress I made from an XL tee from the thrift store, Indian chief ring from ebay, and native american seed bead headbands wrapped as bracelets from a gift shop in Las Vegas.

Willie Nelson wrote the hauntingly beautiful, "Crazy," recorded by Patsy Cline.  One of the saddest songs I've ever heard, and one of my favorites.
Crazy, I'm crazy for feeling so lonely
I'm crazy, crazy for feeling so blue
I knew you'd love me as long as you wanted
And then someday you'd leave me for somebody new
